ATTICA, N.Y. — A contractor was injured in a construction accident at the Attica Middle and High School campus.
It happened late Monday morning when prefabricated rafter sections fell onto the contractor at the new maintenance building site near the middle school parking lot.
Crews called 911 and first responders treated the worker, who was then airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital.
No students or staff were near the site.
