Asia, the chart-topping superband, is gearing up for another unforgettable adventure.
The progressive rock band that dominated the music scene in the 1970s announced that it will be part of the highly anticipated festival.
In an Instagram update, the “Heat of the Moment” hitmaker with current lineup consisting of Founding member Geoff Downes along with Harry Whitley, John Mitchell and Virgil Donati, announced that it will be joining Cruise to the Edge, a premier prog rock music festival held annually aboard a luxury ship.
Asia, who was named as one of the greatest supergroups of all time, will be among the headliners along with Kansas and former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett.
Celebrated as the world's greatest progressive rock cruise, the event will take place from April 2 to 8, 2027.

For six nights, the event will also feature multiple stops in Cozumel, Costa Maya and the private island of Harvest Caye.
Apart from the headliners, Cruise to the Edge will showcase an impressive lineup of new and classic prog bands and artists. This includes returning favorites like Haken, Pendragon, Spock’s Beard, Big Big Train, Neal Morse and more that have also appeared at previous editions of the festival.

The 2026 Cruise to the Edge had a successful run from March 4 to 9, 2026, in celebration of the event’s 10th anniversary edition.
For five nights of unforgettable music and entertainment, the ship sailed from Miami and made stops in Key West, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas.
