ROCHESTER, N.Y. — People supported by The Arc of Monroe got to dance with familiar local faces on Thursday night. The annual “Dancing with The Arc” fundraiser took place at ESL Ballpark.
News10NBC’s own Chris Fortune was among the dancers. He danced with Willow Perez-Evans, a client at The Arc, to “Work” by Rihanna. The pair won the “most animated” trophy.
There were five pairs in total, and first place went to Ethan Wade and Dorothy Glivens. The judges were also well-known people in the community. The Arc supports more than 1,400 people with intellectual or developmental disabilities each year in Monroe County.
