Robby Krieger, the legendary guitarist of The Doors, announced a major update regarding his upcoming show.
Amid the string of highly anticipated shows lined up for this year, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee was forced to postpone his June 12 show due to "unforeseen circumstances.”
In an Instagram update, Krieger confirmed that the show at the COPA ROOM in Tuscany Suites & Casino, Las Vegas, will be rescheduled to a later date.
Instead of this month, the show will be moved to Sept. 5 and added that all tickets purchased for the original date will be honored.
On the other hand, the lineup for the show remained the same, as Krieger will be sharing the stage with his instrumental psych-rock and soul band The Soul Savages.
Following the sudden changes, fans took to the comment section to wish Krieger well, even though the circumstances remain unclear.

“Hope everything is ok,” a commenter on X echoed.
“No worries. Still looking forward to the show!!” a follower said on Instagram.
The upcoming show was a follow-up to his sold-out concert last April in Las Vegas.
Scheduled on April 24, the one-night run was completely booked, which prompted the team to organize another show in the same venue.
At the time, the Grammy Hall of Fame inductee delivered his signature high-energy and hypnotic set that perfectly blends psychedelic rock, soul and jazz-infused sounds.
The setlist included his classic anthems "Blue Brandino,” "Math Problem” and "Bouncy Betty,” as well as signature The Doors tracks like “Back Door Man,” “The Crystal Ship,” “Riders on the Storm,” “The End,” “Soul Kitchen” and “L.A. Woman.”
Apart from the rescheduled show, Krieger will have a series of shows in California.
On June 27, he will be performing with special guests in celebration of their iconic compilation album Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine, which will take place in West Hollywood.
In addition, Krieger is set to bring his signature riffs back to the stage for his Spanish Caravan show on Aug. 29 in Los Angeles.
The Doors’ 60th Anniversary
It can be recalled that the band celebrated their 60th anniversary last year with a re-release of the documentary film When You’re Strange, which won Best Long Form Music Video at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.

The Doors, whose original members were the late Jim Morrison as lead vocals, Ray Manzarek on keyboards, Robby Krieger on guitar and John Densmore on drums.
In an interview with Goldmine, Krieger spoke about his relationship with Morrison, who passed away in 1971.
"In general, as time went on, it would become less and less,” he told the outlet. “At first, we were very close, and he stayed over at my house for a couple of weeks when my parents went out of town. And, yeah, we’d hung out quite a bit, but as time went on, he started drinking more, and I started hanging out less with people I didn’t like. It was less and less."
Apart from Morrison, Ray Manzarek also passed away in 2013. The keyboardist died at the age of 74 after a long battle with bile duct cancer.
