BETHANY, N.Y. — A grand jury in Genesee County has indicted a man from California for a deadly motorcycle crash in the Town of Bethany last year.

Marquel Kennedy, 28, is charged with manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and driving without a license.
Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies say he was driving an SUV and tried to pass two trucks and a farm tractor when he crashed head on into the motorcycle driven by Ryan Farley of Hemlock.
Farley died at the scene of the crash on Route 63.
Kennedy is in jail on $10,000 cash bail.
