Kalshi is building a new interface designed for the most highly engaged retail traders using its prediction markets platform, CNBC reported Thursday (June 4), citing an unnamed source.
The interface enables users to track popular contracts by 24-hour volumes, see all trades as they are actively placed, view individual contracts’ order books, customize interfaces to see event contracts related to their own portfolios, manage multiple positions in various markets simultaneously, and select an option that reduces the friction involved in placing trades, according to the report.
In the future, it may include research and other external information, and it may be extended to Kalshi’s other asset classes, the report said.
The interface has been in development for roughly a month and is now in alpha testing with a select group of traders. The timeline for its launch is not known, per the report.
Reached by PYMNTS, Kalshi declined to comment on the report.
Kalshi announced May 7 that it completed a $1 billion Series F funding round that valued the company at $22 billion. That doubled the firm’s $11 billion valuation established five months earlier.

In its May 7 announcement, Kalshi said its annualized trading volume had tripled over the previous six months, growing from $52 billion to $178 billion.
“The company will continue expanding its product suite, including recently launched block trading capabilities, upcoming risk products, and deeper broker integrations tailored to institutional demand,” Kalshi said in the announcement.
Greenlight Commodities, a Houston-based, Commodity Futures Trading Commission-licensed introducing broker, said in April that it executed an institutional prediction market trade over the counter on the Kalshi platform. Greenlight Commodities said the transaction showed that institutional block orders can be facilitated through Kalshi and other regulated exchanges.
In March, Kalshi said it was launching technological guardrails designed to prevent insider trading and market manipulation.
Another prediction market platform, Gemini, announced in May that it added a “personalized intelligence center” that is powered by Grok AI models from SpaceX’s xAI division. Gemini said its new Command Center surfaces real-time signals, market summaries and AI-generated intelligence to keep users informed about the topics they select.
