The links may have been purchased anytime between May 1 and May 28 at “select Midwest locations,” the letter stated, noting they had a used by date of April 29, 2027.
The letter called it an “isolated event only impacting a limited amount of product.”
“If you have product with the impacted code date shown above, please return the item to your local Costco for a full refund,” the letter from Jones Dairy Farm read. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We stand behind the quality of all our products and are committed to making this right.”
The links are the latest Costco product to be recalled recently.
Last week, another recall letter sent to customers notified of a recall for a frozen pizza item sold at popular grocery stores nationwide due to a salmonella risk that has impacted more than a dozen products in recent months.
