ALBANY, N.Y. — SUNY faculty and professional staff have a new contract.
The state announced today it reached a five-year agreement with United University Professions, the union representing about 42,000 SUNY workers.
If ratified by union members, the contract will include annual salary increases, location pay increases and updates to health benefits.
The contract would run through July 1, 2031.
