It’s official visit season for the 2027 recruiting cycle, and Alex Golesh‘s Auburn Tigers are off to a hot start.
Recent visitor Aidyn Wiggins, a cornerback, is the newest Auburn commitment. He’s the fourth new pledge for the Tigers since summer visits got underway in May.

A May 29th visitor, Wiggins is out of Duncan (South Carolina) Byrnes High School. He is listed as measuring 6-1, 185 pounds.

On the 247Sports Composite, Wiggins is rated 3-stars, the No. 17 player in the state of South Carolina, No. 79 cornerback and No. 854 prospect overall in the Class of 2027. His recruiting profile shows scholarship offers from 27 programs, including Clemson and Ole Miss.
Wiggins made the announcement on social media with the help of Hayes Fawcett of Rivals. He told Fawcett that he chose Auburn over LSU, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.
With Wiggins on board, Auburn is now up to 13 verbal commitments. The class currently ranks No. 23 nationally on the Composite.
