Greater Cairo and the Lower Egypt are expected to reach temperatures of up to 36C during the day, while the northern coast will see highs of 31C, northern Upper Egypt 38C, and temperatures in southern Upper Egypt will reach 41C.
The EMA confirmed that high humidity levels will increase the perceived temperature by one to two degrees Celsius above the expected average in the shade.
It also predicted a 20 percent chance of intermittent light rain with occasional thunder in parts of the northwestern coasts, Lower Egypt, and the Western Desert.
Winds are expected to be active, with speeds ranging between 30 and 40 kilometers per hour across most areas.
There will be a slight chance of some low clouds forming over scattered areas of Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, and northern Upper Egypt, also possibly accompanied by a 20 percent chance of light rain in some areas.
The EMA urged citizens to follow official weather forecasts and take the necessary precautions, especially during peak hours, to avoid direct sun exposure and mitigate the effects of the hot weather.
