The team announced at least six former players that will be participating in the event, including Scott Podsednik, who hit one of the most famous home runs in team history when he walked off Game 2 of the 2005 World Series against the Houston Astros.
Joining Podsednik will be fan favorites like Gordon Beckham and Alexei Ramirez, according to the team.
Daniel Palka and Leury Garcia will also participate, as will famed slugger Jose Canseco, who hit 462 home runs during his lengthy MLB career.
According to the White Sox, the home run derby will span three rounds, with each participant having 10 outs or three minutes to hit as many home runs as possible. It will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game, which will get underway at 1:10 p.m.
