80s Country Star Announces Update on 2026 Music Festival

Randy Travis made an exciting announcement ahead of the highly anticipated music festival.

With back-to-back activities planned for the country icon this year, among the upcoming scheduled events is CMA Fest.

    Celebrated as the world’s longest-running country music festival, the four-day event is set in Nashville and will kick off from June 4 to June 7.

    For this year’s festival, the event will showcase hundreds of artists performing across 10 stages that will surely keep the estimated 95,000 daily attendees entertained throughout the weekend.

    The headliners, including Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, HARDY and more, are set to take the main stage.

    As for Travis, he will be appearing on Friday and Saturday, performing some of his timeless hits.

    Speaking of delivering live sets featuring his signature songs, the award-winning singer updated fans on what to look forward to at the upcoming CMA Fest.

    In an Instagram post, he revealed that he will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of his critically acclaimed debut studio album Storms of Life.

    Featuring a life-size replica of the iconic general store from the album cover, exclusive merch, vinyl & CDs, and a chance to leave Randy a letter in his mailbox,” the caption reads.

    In addition, Travis and his wife Mary Travis, along with other special guests, will take part in activities on the Close Up Stage and will be hosting Fan Meet & Greets on Friday.

    “Come celebrate the songs, stories, and legacy that continue to inspire generations. Forever and ever grateful for all of you!” he concluded the post, sparking thrilled reactions from fans who couldn't wait to see him on stage.

    “Can’t wait!” another echoed.

    Storms of Life was Travis' debut album, released in 1986, and it featured his chart-topping tracks "On the Other Hand," "1982," "Diggin' Up Bones" and "No Place Like Home."

    His first album also marked his breakthrough in the music industry after selling more than three million copies, helping establish him as one of the genre's rising stars.

    Decades later, he established himself as one of country music's icons after securing seven Grammy wins, 23 number-one singles and a Country Music Hall of Fame induction among his many career achievements.
