Random Ramsdom: Sean McVay wants their international games to be where?

It’s part of my job these last several years, but even before I wrote for Turf Show Times I was constantly sucking down Los Angeles Rams news (including from this very site), and today’s news I’ll share is that Sean McVay wants the next three “international games” for the Los Angeles Rams to be in, “L.A., L.A., L.A.”.

You can check out the actual CBS Los Angeles interview below or here. It’s a bit after the 12:00 minute mark that you’ll hear the “L.A., L.A., L.A.” quote from McVay, though the entire interview is worth your time if you can spare the time.

The quote is a response from McVay when the interviewer asks the head coach where he’d want his next three international games to be? Since L.A. will be playing one game in Australia this season, it’s a fair question. McVay playfully responds by basically saying he’d rather be playing games at home in Los Angeles, but adds that these games a great opportunity for the league to expand.

Where does McVay want his next three international games? “L.A., L.A., LA.”.

Where do the fans want their teams next three internation games? Like McVay hinted at, likely not playing internationally. But you can’t argue (or you can!) it’s a great way for the league to expand.

Thank YOU for checking out Turf Show Times! Happy Friday. Don’t get lost in the backrooms.

“The Los Angeles Rams are beginning OTAs this week. While many will be watching Ty Simpson, Puka Nacua, Trent McDuffie, and others, there are several under the radar players looking to build some momentum heading into training camp. Here are five under-the-radar players to keep and eye on during Rams OTAs.

    WR CJ Daniels

Many are excited to see what CJ Daniels can do in the Rams offense. One of the most anticipated position battles this offseason is the one taking place at WR3. While Daniels won’t win that competition in OTAs, a strong two weeks will be good momentum heading into training camp. Daniels needs to show a strong grasp of the offense and take advantage of any of his opportunities. Jordan Whittington is another player worth mentioning here.“

“Pro Football Focus named free agent Joey Bosa as their best closer in the NFL, stating his performance in the fourth quarter and overtime was the highest graded output in the league last season.

“There may not have been a bigger gap between early-game and late-game performance in 2025 than the one displayed by Joey Bosa,” wrote PFF’s Daire Carragher. “After several injury-shortened seasons, it is fair to wonder whether his peak years are behind him, yet he still looked like a game-changing pass rusher once the fourth quarter arrived.”
