10 Over-The-Top Snacks Worth Going To A Baseball Game For

America’s pastime is no longer just hot dogs and Cracker Jacks (though I will never deny a classic ballpark dog). No, today’s food scene at Major League Baseball games around the country is filled with classic bites and over-the-top snacks that fans can’t seem to get enough of. And while nearly every MLB stadium is dishing out something wildly Instagram-worthy, the best over-the-top dishes truly take classic options and turn them on their heads, and often into the deep fryer.

If you’re heading to one of America's or Canada’s iconic baseball stadiums this summer, be sure to go hungry, because there are plenty of things to try. After scouring menus and foodie TikTok, I’ve come up with 10 of the best over-the-top snacks at stadiums from east to west, and north to south. But if your summer plans don’t take you to any of the below stadiums, be on the lookout for some wild and crazy bites at whatever game you have a ticket for.

Deep-Fried Kringle at American Family Field

Fans can get deep fried Kringle at Milwaukee Brewers games this year.

    Milwaukee Brewers

Wisconsin is known for its cheese, but also for the sweet Kringle pastry that dates back over 100 years. At Milwaukee Brewers baseball games, fans can snack on deep-fried almond kringle, of course, served on a stick and topped with powdered sugar.

The Chicago Cubs are a legendary team, and even more legendary are the snacks being served at Wrigley Field. This year, the Chicken and Churros combo is the snack to get. It combines savory fried chicken thighs with warm churros tossed in cinnamon sugar. The whole thing is topped off with a sweet-and-spicy ancho chili syrup and fresh strawberries.

Hawwt Dawwg Biscuits and Gravy at Globe Life Field

The South is mashing up two favorites with this baseball snack.

    Texas Rangers

Biscuits and gravy are a staple in the South, and now the breakfast plate is heading to the ballpark at the Texas Rangers games. At Globe Life Field, you can order the Hawwt Dawwg Biscuits and Gravy, which starts with a deep-fried Angus beef hot dog that’s nestled on a warm biscuit and smothered in country gravy.

24” Slugger Dog at the Rogers Centre

Try your hand at this impressive food challenge at the next Toronto Blue Jays game.

    Toronto Marriott City Centre

If you’re into big food challenges, then belly up to the bar at Sportsnet Grill inside the Toronto Marriott City Centre (the only hotel inside an MLB Stadium) to take on the 24” Slugger Dog. The epic challenge starts with an all-beef hot dog, topped with bacon, onion jam, Swiss and cheddar cheese, chipotle mayo, and spring onions. And if you can eat the entire thing in less than seven minutes, you get a prize and your picture on the Wall of Fame. I would suggest trying this challenge after the game so that you can sleep it off back at the hotel.

Kramarczuk’s Brat Sampler at Target Field

The sharable sausage sampler is a fun snack at Minnesota Twins games.

    Minnesota Twins

One of the more shareable options is the Kramarczuk’s Brat Sampler at the Minnesota Twins’ games. The nearly two-foot-long flight of mini sausages is made in partnership with one of Minneapolis’ most iconic sausage makers. You get half a dozen tiny brats nestled into warm buns, some topped with mustard, plus a side of grilled onions and kraut to top the brats as you wish.

The Schwarbomb Sundae at Citizens Bank Park

Try the sundae that gives back at your next Phillies game.

    Aramark Sports + Entertainment

To cool off at a Phillies game, try one of the Schwarbomb Sundaes. The ice cream treat is named after Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber, and is a massive hit with kids. The soft serve sundae is served in a 2026 MLB All-Star Game mini helmet. It's loaded down with a funnel-cake-batter-fried strawberry Uncrustable, fresh strawberry sauce, and fruity cereal pieces. Even better, part of the proceeds goes to Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes, which supports first responders and military families.

    Boomin Onion at Daikin Park

The sharable Boomin Onion is an instant crowd pleaser.

    Houston Astros

One of my favorite deep-fried guilty pleasures is onion anything, so when I saw the Boomin Onion being sold at Houston Astros games, I knew it had to make the list. And while you can get a plain deep-fried onion served with ranch or boom boom sauce, the real over-the-top choice is the one topped with BBQ Pork. This will feed a crowd and starts with a golden fried Boomin Onion, topped with pork burnt ends, queso blanco, pickled red onions, BBQ sauce, and BBQ aioli. Maybe wear your stretchy pants to the game if you want to get this over-the-top meal.

    Pizza Nachos at Yankee Stadium

Take a bite out of the Pizza Nachos at Yankee Stadium.

    HexClad

Pizza and nachos are classic game day foods, but Yankee Stadium is combining them into one dish, dubbed Pizza Nachos. The deep-dish-style nacho dish starts with a bed of chips, layered with sauce, cheese, pepperoni, pickled jalapeños, black olives and more for the ultimate mash-up. It’s all baked and served in a HexClad Hybrid Deep Sauce Pan and serves up to six people. Just know you, unfortunately, can’t take the HexClad pan home with you.

The Bat Flip at Truist Park

The Bat Flip is an over-the-top meal at games for the Atlanta Braves.

    Atlanta Braves/Delaware North

The South is full of wild creations, but none can stand up to the options at an Atlanta Braves game, where The Bat Flip reigns supreme. The colossal sandwich starts with seven inches of toasted brioche bread stacked with two pounds of hand-formed beef patties. Then the sandwich gets even more meat with braised short ribs and crispy pork belly. It’s all topped off with melted cheese, fried onion rings, lettuce, tomatoes, and a fried egg.

Medieval Home Run Meat Board at Progressive Field

Upgrade to a suite at the Cleveland Guardians to try this over-the-top plate.

    Cleveland Guardians

While it’s only available in the premium suites, the Medieval Home Run Meat Board may be a good reason to upgrade your group’s seats for the next Cleveland Guardians game. This over-the-top carnivore-lover spread features grilled tomahawk steaks, half of a rotisserie chicken, BBQ pork wings, sesame ginger duck wings, BBQ turkey legs, and brisket burnt end sausage. And of course, no BBQ feast is complete without sides, and this one comes with corn on the cob and corn bread, plus a take-home Medieval Home Run helmet.
