Delays were expected on the Indiana Toll Road in LaPorte County after a crash that left a semi-truck and pickup truck overturned, authorities said.
Around 7:30 p.m., Indiana State Police Sergeant Ted Bohner said a crash on the Indiana Toll Road near mile marker 47.1 caused all eastbound lanes and all but one westbound lane to be blocked. Traffic was being diverted at Exit 39 for State Route 421.
“Expect delays as crews work to remove the vehicles and clear the scene,” Bohner said in a post on social media.
No major injuries were reported, Bohner said.
Photos shared by Bohner showed both a flipped semi-truck lying horizontally across lanes of traffic and a flipped pickup truck nearby.
