ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Regional Health has confirmed it discontinued on-site X-ray services at its Brighton and Chili Urgent Care locations.
In a statement from RRH, it said the decision was made earlier this spring to move a limited number of radiology technologists to other locations with higher patient demand.
If imaging services are needed, RRH said it will help direct patients to the most appropriate location.

“Rochester Regional Health (RRH) discontinued on-site X-ray services at its Brighton and Chili Urgent Care locations earlier this spring. This change was made to allow RRH to shift a limited number of radiology technologists to locations with higher patient demand. Patients continue to have access to imaging services across Rochester Regional Health, including nearby urgent care and imaging locations.
All RRH Urgent Care locations continue to treat a wide range of conditions, and care teams will help direct patients to the most appropriate location if imaging services are needed.
Rochester Regional Health is currently evaluating plans related to future imaging coverage at these locations and will share additional information as plans are finalized.”
