GENEVA, N.Y. — A convicted felon is facing new charges after a violent burglary in Geneva.
Geneva police say Aleem Whitfield broke into a home on May 24 and physically assaulted a woman inside.
The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. She’s since been released.
Police say Whitfield turned himself in Tuesday after initially running from the scene. He’s charged with burglary.
According to police, more charges are pending.
