However, those Saints were led by QB Spencer Rattler rather than Shough, so it will be interesting to see two of the stars of the 2025 draft class go head-to-head with Shough officially leading the way for New Orleans.
It’s also worth noting that John Harbaugh and his staff have arrived in New York, so the Giants could look like a completely different football team for all we know. Additionally, we’ll have to see how the Saints match up with them without Demario Davis leading the pack on defense.
Early prediction for me is that the Saints can come out with another victory considering the explosiveness and stability they’ve added on offense with players such as Travis Etienne, Jordyn Tyson and David Edwards, among others. I also feel that Kaden Elliss will do a better job of filling the void left by Davis than many think, and that the Saints’ young defensive backs will take a leap this season. It should be interesting to see how they fare against Malik Nabers and co.
