ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Monday morning will bring lots of clouds with some areas of fog and drizzle. The gloomy weather will linger into mid-morning and then begin to clear heading into the afternoon. If you are heading to a parade this morning plan on mostly cloudy skies and temps in the low 60s as fog and drizzle clear by 10am. Much better weather arrives for the afternoon. Any picnics or cookouts this afternoon will feature increasing sunshine and temps climbing nicely to around 70 degrees. Fair and mild weather into Monday evening. Much warmer weather arrives for Tuesday with plenty of sunshine. Top temps Tuesday will reach the low to mid 80s. Warm weather lasts into Wednesday with a few more clouds around. A cold front will approach the region Wednesday afternoon and evening. At this time no widespread rain and thunder is expected but a few pop-up showers and storms will be possible so stay tuned to updates on that midweek front. Behind the cold front cooler weather settles in but that will come with lots of sunshine and dry weather for a change later this week into next weekend.
