There has been an invisible tussle between the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Indian Premier League (IPL) since the beginning of this year’s edition.

“So he needs time to get that done. And I think that was why the ECB was gracious enough to let him stay and understand that he’ll be fine once he gets his bowling goals up, once he leaves the IPL,” he added.
Jofra Archer turned out to be the main man behind RR’s dominating performance over the Mumbai Indians. He was named as the Player of the Match for securing 32 runs from 15 balls with the bat, and taking 3 wickets in his 4-over spell in exchange for only 17 runs.
