Chicago police are investigating after a 2-year-old boy was shot and killed inside of a Pullman residence on Sunday afternoon.
According to authorities, the boy was shot in the head inside of a residence. The toddler was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say it is believed the gunshot wound was self-inflicted, but an investigation remains underway.
A 31-year-old man was taken into custody from the residence, police said.
