A 62-year-old woman was struck and killed by a driver while walking in Chicago’s Kilbourn Park neighborhood on Saturday evening.
Around 5:15 p.m., the woman was walking on the 4500 block of West Belmont when she was struck by a 35-year-old woman driving a Nissan, authorities said.
The woman who was hit was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.
An investigation remains ongoing.
Police did not state whether the driver was cited.
