The reason he gave wasn't logistics. It was personal. Michaels noted that he is the son of a veteran, and that almost every member of his family has served or is currently serving in the military. Michaels had previously floated the idea of a 2027 run potentially billed as '40 Plus One,' referencing the 41st anniversary of Look What the Cat Dragged In, the 1986 debut that launched Michaels, DeVille, Dall, and Rockett from the Los Angeles club circuit into mainstream rock history.
