Blues legend Buddy Guy has added more headline shows to his Buddy Guy 90 Tour, extending his 2026 run across North America as the music icon prepares to celebrate his 90th birthday this July.
The newly announced dates include stops in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis and several other cities across the United States and Canada. Tickets for the added shows were on sale May 15 through Buddy Guy’s official website.
In a statement shared with fans, Team BG wrote: “JUST ANNOUNCED: The celebration continues — More headline dates have been added to the Buddy Guy 90 Tour across North America as we honor 90 legendary years of Buddy Guy!”

The expanded tour follows Guy’s earlier farewell-themed runs, including the Damn Right Farewell and Damn Right Encore tours. Despite previously announcing retirement plans, the guitarist continues performing live while celebrating more than seven decades in blues music.

In 2026, he won his ninth Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album for Ain’t Done with the Blues. The album became another milestone in a career that has influenced generations of guitar players.
Guy was also recently featured in the 2025 film Sinners, where he appeared as the older version of the character Sammie in a mid-credits scene.
Born George “Buddy” Guy on July 30, 1936, in Louisiana, the musician became one of the defining artists of Chicago blues. Over the decades, he influenced major rock and blues performers including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Guy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 and has also received the National Medal of Arts and Kennedy Center Honors during his career.
Even after decades onstage, Guy continues to perform for audiences around the world while keeping blues music in the spotlight.
