ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The four suspects in connection with the abduction of a family in Perinton have been dismissed of all charges.
The four are Omar Saleh, Amar Saleh, Gamil Ahmed, and Dajour Paul.

It all started after a woman and her two young children were found safe after being abducted from their Perinton home Saturday afternoon, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say the kidnapping happened around 3:20 p.m. Saturday May 10. An Amber Alert went out just before 9 p.m. and was lifted shortly after 10 p.m.

Court paperwork says the children and their mother were kidnapped from a safe house in Perinton set up and paid for by Child Protective Services and the U.S. Department of State. The paperwork says the children were going to be sent off to Yemen.
The complaint says on Saturday afternoon, the three men, Omar Saleh, Dajour Paul and Gamil Ahmed, forced the 11-year-old children and their mother into a car, taking them away from the safe house and to a house in the city to hide them before they sent them off to Yemen.

Most recent court appearance
The men were back in court on Monday, May 18. Attorneys for Omar and Amar Saleh and Gamil Ahmed requested their clients be released from home confinement conditions set at city court during their arraignment. Under the new agreement, the suspects must stay in Monroe County and will remain under surveillance. They are no longer required to be under home confinement.
The fourth suspect, Dajour Paul, was arraigned in Monroe County Court last week.
