ROCHESTER, N.Y. — People from companies and organizations across the region will run through the streets of downtown Rochester on Thursday.
The 34th annual J.P. Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge starts and finishes outside of ESL Ballpark. It’s one of 16 Corporate Challenges worldwide. The goal of the 3.5-mile run is to help co-workers bond over exercise and post-race festivities. Here’s what to know about the race and street closures:
About the race
The race starts at 7:15 p.m. on Plymouth Avenue outside the ballpark. The finish line is on Morrie Silver Way, next to the main entrance. You can see the course map here.
Check with your employer to see if they’ve registered a team. While it’s too late to register a team for this year, you can learn about registering for next year and becoming a team captain here. After the race, there will be festivities at the ballpark.
Which company has the most registered runners?
Over 4,300 people are expected to run on Thursday, representing over 200 companies, government groups, universities, and more. L3Harris has the most registered runners this year at 230. Here’s the rest of the list:
