ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is recovering after being stabbed on Willowbank Place off West Main Street on Tuesday night.
Rochester Police say the man flagged down officers for help around 11 a.m. as they were conducting a traffic stop at the corner of West Main Street and Jefferson Avenue. Officers say he was stabbed at least once in the upper body.
An ambulance took the man to the hospital, and he is expected to survive. Police have no suspects in custody and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
