Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe have been announced by the BBC as the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing.
Willis, who has also hosted The Voice and Big Brother, will take over Tess Daly’s role as the show’s main host.
Widdicombe will take over Claudia Winkleman’s role in the show’s former so-called “Clauditorium”, while Radebe will act as a roving reporter, the BBC added.
Last month, nine potential successors to Winkleman and Daly were put through their paces in a full-scale reconstruction of a live Strictly Come Dancing episode.
The shock exit of the pair earlier this year sparked an overhaul of the “jewel in the BBC’s crown” following a number of scandals.
The show has weathered bullying allegations against pro dancer Giovanni Pernice (partially upheld after an inquiry), the sacking of dancer Graziano Di Prima for allegedly kicking his celebrity partner, a reprimand for contestant Wynne Evans for allegedly making sexualised comments to a female dancer, as well as allegations of alleged cocaine use by two stars.

The 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing begins in September, with returning judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke alongside the line-up of professional dancers.
Returning from 2025’s series are Alexis Warr, Amy Dowden, Aljaz Skorjanec, Dianne Buswell, Johannes Radebe, Jowita Przystal, Julian Caillon, Kai Widdrington, Katya Jones, Lauren Oakley, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Vito Coppola, and Carlos Gu, who won last year’s series with former England footballer Karen Carney.
