Abdelatty said that Egypt is seeking to expand economic, trade, and investment cooperation with Greece and praised the support of Athens for Cairo within European Union institutions.

Abdelatty stressed the importance of advancing the political process in Libya, holding presidential and parliamentary elections, and preserving the country’s unity and sovereignty.
Regarding Sudan, he stressed the need to preserve the country’s unity and national institutions while rejecting external interference.
The two ministers agreed to continue coordination and consultations to support regional stability and reduce tensions.
