BRIGHTON, N.Y. — Brighton Volunteer Ambulance held a Public Safety Family Fair on Sunday afternoon.
Multiple first responder partners attended the family-friendly event. Kids painted small wooden dogs and got temporary tattoos.
Other kids wore fire department hats and had the chance to sit in a fire truck.
Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle celebrated Brighton Volunteer Ambulance and said many communities are struggling with EMS service.
“Because of the long-time work of the people here at BVA, the commitment to this community and frankly, the gratitude this community gives back to BVA, we have one of the most successful, professional, and you know, important volunteer ambulance services in the community,” said Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle.
The Public Safety Family Fair kicked off National EMS Week, which runs from today until the 23rd.
