Pakistan have named their 15-member squad for the Women's T20 World Cup to be held in England next month.
As expected, Fatima Sana has been appointed to lead the team. The Pakistan Women's Team recently finished a white-ball series against Zimbabwe. From the squad that faced Zimbabwe, only one change has been made, with experienced pacer Diana Baig coming in for the uncapped Amber Kainat.
Five players in the Pakistan squad set to play the first World Cup
Of the 15 players in the squad, 5 will be playing in the T20 World Cup for the first time. Eyman Fatima, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Saira Jabeen, and Tasmia Rubab will get their first experience of the showpiece event.
Pakistan will open their campaign on June 14 against arch-rivals India.
