ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is charged with menacing after Rochester Police surrounded a home and shut down Mayberry Street off Atlantic Avenue for an investigation on Friday.
Officers arrived around 2:30 a.m. after getting a call for a person with a knife trying to get inside a home. RPD says the officers were able to “safely separate the involved parties” and restricted the area for the public’s safety. Police eventually determined that there was no threat to the community.
The area has since reopened. No one was hurt.
