Furthermore, she noted that while the global economy grew by 2.8 percent, the travel and tourism sector recorded 4.1 percent growth, with growth rates in the Middle East and Africa reaching approximately 5 percent.
The WTTC CEO concluded her remarks emphasizing that Egypt represents a clear model of resilience and the ability to handle crises with high efficiency and flexibility, and praised the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities for its distinguished performance and the noticeable increase in Egyptian tourism revenues.
