GROVELAND, N.Y. — A Livingston County sex offender just released from prison has been re-arrested after being accused of sexually abusing a child younger than 11.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office started its investigation at the end of March. After Derek Getman was released from Attica Correctional on unrelated charges Tuesday, investigators arrested him and charged him with sexual abuse.
He’s in the Livingston County Jail without bail.
