What Is Hint? Martha Stewart's New Company Is a Handy Home Management App
This week, Martha Stewart and her co-founders Yih-Han Ma and Kyle Rush officially unveiled their new company, Hint, which will launch this summer.
In a press release, Hint is described as an AI-powered "home management platform that is a single, trusted interface to manage and optimize every facet of the home."
Essentially, Hint is an app that helps homeowners keep track of their home's data plus every project, renovation, purchase and more. It will also provide guidance to help homeowners make cost-effective decisions regarding home care and upgrades that will increase the property's value.
"Think of it as a digital extension of the trusted teams that have helped me care for my homes for decades, the contractors, the plumbers, the gardeners, the designers, now available to every homeowner," Stewart wrote in a LinkedIn post.

Hint's mission is "to empower homeowners to take control of their homes and make homeownership more affordable for all."

Once your account gets approved, you'll get started by entering your home address. From there, Hint will compile a report with various "details most homeowners never think to look up," such as your property's flood risk, climate zone and more.
