Forza Horizon 6 benchmarks explained ...Middle East

With the release of Forza Horizon 6 imminent, Nvidia has released official benchmarks, showing PC players what kind of performance they can expect across a multitude of graphics cards.

Given the recommended requirements that Turn10 released some months back, it’s not a huge surprise to see the game running well on powerful systems, as Forza Horizon 6 is Steam Deck Verified.

Sadly, there are no official benchmarks for AMD graphics cards, but we can make some reasonable assumptions, as AMD's premier offering, the Radeon RX 9070 XT, is comparable to an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti, though it is a little slower at ray tracing workloads.

But, as for those Nvidia benchmarks, they have been conducted using the 5090, 5080 and 5070 Ti series of cards, along with AMD Ryzen 9800X3D CPUs and 64GB of RAM across three resolutions: 4K, 1440P and 1080P.

Additionally, the RTX 5070, 5060 Ti and 5060 have been included in the 1080P benchmarks.

One thing to note about the benchmarks is that they were run using DLSS x4 Multi Frame Generation, which raises the perceived fluidity of a game by introducing 3 generated frames.

As such, we have divided the results by four and added a little to account for the processing cost of frame generation to give a ballpark figure for those who do not wish to use the tech.

Forza Horizon 6 4K benchmarks

As noted by the above graphic, the benchmark was conducted with the following parameters:

The 5090 sees a return of 337 FPS, which would be around 80-90 FPS without frame generation. The 5080 reaches 237 FPS, or circa 65 FPS without frame generation, and the 5070 Ti hits 205 FPS, or 55-60 FPS without frame generation.

All are extremely playable frame rates, with or without frame generation, and some sensible settings tweaks will easily get the 5070 Ti above 60 FPS on average.

Forza Horizon 6 1440P benchmarks

Much like the 4K benchmark, the 1440P benchmark was run with the following settings:

The 5090 sees a return of 414 FPS, which would come to around 110 FPS without frame generation, the 5080 reaches 305 FPS, or somewhere in the region of 80 FPS without frame generation, and the 5070 Ti manages 285 FPS, or 75 FPS without frame generation.

If you have a 1440P monitor, you will have absolutely no issue running Forza Horizon 6 with any of the above cards.

Forza Horizon 6 1080P benchmarks

Similar to the 4K and 1440P benchmarks, the 1080P benchmarks ran with the following settings:

Predictably, the 5090 is complete overkill, reaching 493 FPS, or 125-130 FPS without frame generation. The 5080 reached 397 FPS, or over 100 without frame generation. The 5070 Ti managed an average of 357 FPS, or around 90 FPS without frame generation. The 5070 returned 304 FPS, which would be around 80 FPS without frame generation. The 5060 Ti put out 235 FPS, or around 60 FPS without frame generation. The 5060 returned 169 FPS, which would equate to 45-50 FPS or so without frame generation.

All told, Forza Horizon 6 should run on just about anything from the last ten years or so, and even less powerful hardware should be able to enable features such as ray-tracing.
