Bri, 28, and Demari, 29, met on season 6 of Too Hot to Handle. The season ended with them winning $100,000. Fellow Perfect Match contestant Katherine LaPrell was runner-up with her ex, Charlie Jeer.

Bri and Demari dated until February 2025. Bri made a TikTok and claimed multiple women sent her a "coming to me as a woman DM." That means the women claimed Demari wasn't faithful to her. She added that she "flew out seven hours across the country to get broken up with" after her grandmother's funeral.
Demari made a TikTok and said he refused to give a reason for ending the relationship. "Sometimes the hardest thing in life to do is when you love somebody, when you love any thing is to know when it's time to leave," he told the camera.
Demari said it "cut me deep" that Bri made some details of the breakup public. "I'm not this person ya'll think. I am just like nameste, peaceful, graceful, and understanding all the time," he said.
Bri later moved on and publicly made videos with LochanNowacki ofLove Islandin December. However, his ex, Whitney Adebayo, publicly accused him and his family of making racist comments throughout their relationship.
Bri wrote on her Instagram Story that Whitney's timing in making the accusations after they went public was suspicious. Their relationship seemingly ended not long after that.
