VICTOR, N.Y. — A 21-year-old woman is facing charges after Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say she falsely reported an assault and kidnapping.
Emma Fuller is charged with falsely reporting an incident in the third degree. Deputies say on April 26, Fuller had filed a police report with the sheriff’s office stating she was assaulted and kidnapped while at Eastview Mall.
Investigators say they later determined that it never happened and Fuller had knowingly reported a false assault and kidnapping to law enforcement.
She was issued an appearance ticket and is set to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
