ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Over 20 local employers will be at East High School on Saturday, May 16, for a youth job and resource fair. It aims to connect youth ages 15 to 24 with work opportunities and to help them explore career paths.

The fifth annual fair runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Family members are welcome to attend. The employment and training nonprofit RochesterWorks, along with multiple county and state-level lawmakers, will host the fair.

    Here are some of the employers expected to attend: Burlington Stores, Chick-Fil-A in Henrietta, DreamLink NY, EnCompass, Home Depot, Judicial Process Commission, McDonald’s, Monroe 2 – Orleans BOCES, Monroe Community College Optics program, Monroe County Board of Elections, Monroe County Civil Service, Monroe County Emergency Communications Department 911 Center, New York State Department of Civil Service, New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, New York State Police, NY Army National Guard, Pathways Inc., Rochester Education Foundation, U.S. Army, University of Rochester/University of Rochester Medical Center, YAMTEP and the YMCA of Greater Rochester.
