Krunal Pandya and Jacob Bethell then stitched a partnership of 55 runs between them, but the latter was dismissed on the score of 27 runs. The former brought up his fifty in 32 balls. Jitesh Sharma was back on the score of 18 runs, and Tim David went back without scoring.

Pandya was back after playing a sensational knock of 73 runs and put RCB to a winning position, and MI came back into the game, but Bhuvneshwar Kumar smacked a six with 9 needed of three as Rajat Patidar's side pulled off the thriller in the final ball.
