A 17-year-old driver has been issued multiple citations after a multi-vehicle crash left seven people injured Saturday night.
According to Chicago police, the teen driver was attempted to turn eastbound from North Pulaski onto West Diversey Avenue when she struck another sedan that was driving through the intersection.
The teen driver was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, and four other passengers in her vehicle, ranging in age from 14 to 18, were also hospitalized. All of them were listed in good condition, according to police.
The 61-year-old driver of the other sedan, along with a woman who was riding in his vehicle, were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
The teen driver was issued at least four citations by police, according to officers at the scene. An investigation of the crash remains ongoing.
