According to Chicago police, the two men were on a sidewalk in the 3500 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive at approximately 12:53 p.m. when gunfire rang out.
A 27-year-old man was shot in the stomach, and a 31-year-old man was shot in the right arm, according to authorities.
Both men were transported to area hospitals for treatment, though neither’s injuries were considered serious, police said.
No suspects are in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating.
