ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Around 7:20 p.m. on Friday, Rochester police said they responded to DeJonge Street after getting a report of a man shot.
When officers responded, they found a 19-year-old man who had been shot once in the lower body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and has non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
The investigation is ongoing to find out the circumstances of the shooting, police added.
Police also report that no suspects are in custody.
