Legendary country singer Reba McEntire is being honored in Nashville later this month, but not for her amazing musical or acting talents.

However, this time around, the Happy Place star is being honored for her generous heart and constant giving back to the Nashville community, as Musicians On Call is honoring McEntire with the Music Heals Golden Ukulele Award.
According to the website, Musicians On Call is the "nation’s leading provider of live music in hospitals, Musicians On Call volunteers have performed for more than one million individuals in healthcare facilities nationwide."

McEntire is receiving the Music Heals Golden Ukulele Award for her fundraising campaigns and her involvement in programs that support patients and healthcare professionals.

The “Fancy” hitmaker will be honored at the Musicians On Call’s largest-ever fundraiser happening on May 20 at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Garth Brooks,Vince Gill, andTrisha Yearwood are set to perform, while Martina McBride is scheduled to make a special appearance to help honor McEntire.
