Since the early aughts, we've been keeping up with the Kardashians, and it's all because of Hollywood's most famous matriarch — Kris Jenner. But when she's not making jet-setting trips around the world or shutting down facelift rumors, she's simply Mom to her six children and "Lovey" to her grandkids.
On a special Mother's Day episode of the SHE MD podcast, Jenner sat down with hosts Mary Alice Haney and Dr. Thais Aliabadi ("Dr. A."), revealing the ups and downs of becoming a mother to a momager. She began with a story about her first pregnancy with Kourtney Kardashian.
"I often say one is like one, two is like 20. One was manageable and doable, and I figured it out. I had help for 10 days when I had Kourtney. I thought that was such a treat and a blessing and such a help. Somebody to help me with those 10 nights when you're trying to get your strength back and recover from childbirth. And then, after that, I was just on my own and had some babysitters here and there. I rolled my sleeves up, and I was a full-time mom, which was the best experience of my life. She [Kourtney] taught me how to be a mom."
Jenner expressed the "juggling act" of being a mom once Kim was born and then seemingly overnight watching them grow up alongside brother Rob and sister Khloe. While most of her pregnancies were "easy," giving birth to Kylie presented a challenge for the All's Fair executive producer, many moms can unfortunately relate to.
"The last one [pregnancy] I had gestational diabetes. Kylie gave me a run for my money. But, I was 41," she stated.

"I often say to my kids, I was a Kardashian before you were a Kardashian. I think when I got divorced, and I had four kids, and then knew I was going to go to work, I was really excited about going to work. It made me feel really strong and responsible... and self-confident about myself to be able to go out there in the workforce and figure it out," she explained.
"I didn't really know what that was going to be, but it was sure fun trying and getting it together."
That's an understatement. Kris Jenner has built a multi-million dollar empire not only for herself, but for her kids. And even though they're all grown up, she's still mom, no matter what. When asked how she's able to be both supermom and supermomager, Jenner responded, "There's no line. There's not a lot of boundaries, and in the best way. I say that in the best way because I don't feel like I need them. I think that my purpose on Earth is to be here for them."
"I did not have six children and raise these kids so that when they were 18 years old, I led them to the front door and said, 'Bye. See ya, sucker!' No! These are now my people. This is my life."
