Sky Sports have confirmed that highlights of every Formula 1 Grand Prix and live coverage of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone will "continue to be available free-to-air" in the UK and Ireland as part of a new deal that runs until 2034.
A new multi-year agreement between F1 and the broadcaster was announced on Wednesday (6 May), which will see Sky Sports remain the home of the sport in the UK and Ireland.
As part of the deal, Sky and NOW will have exclusive live coverage of every practice, qualifying, sprint, and race until the end of the 2034 season – a five-year extension on the previous deal.
Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 ACADEMY and Porsche Supercup are included in the agreement with Sky
The broadcaster has also confirmed its plans for free-to-air coverage in a major boost for UK viewers.
Highlights of every Grand Prix and live coverage of the British Grand Prix will continue to be free-to-air in the UK until the end of the 2034 season.
Channel 4 has broadcast F1 since 2016, when BBC relinquished the rights early due to budget cuts.
Sky Sports became the UK home of the sport in 2019 and enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2025.
