A 32-year-old man has died after he was shot multiple times in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood Saturday night.
According to Chicago police, the man was walking in the 2900 block of West 54th Street just before 9 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan pulled up near him.
Three individuals got out of that vehicle, and a verbal altercation ensued, police said.
Eventually one of the suspects pulled out a weapon and opened fire, striking the victim multiple times.
The suspects fled the scene westbound on West 54th Street, according to police.
The victim in the shooting was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects are in custody at this time, and an investigation is underway.
