Chicago police are investigating after three people were shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood late Saturday night.
According to authorities, the three were standing in the 5000 block of South Hoyne Avenue when gunfire rang out.
A 20-year-old man was shot in the chest, and he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.
An 18-year-old was shot in the right shoulder and a 16-year-old was shot in the left leg. Both were hospitalized in fair condition, according to authorities.
No suspects are in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating the shooting.
