A 58-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a shooting in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood that left a second man injured early Saturday, police said.
The incident was reported at around 1:21 a.m. in the 0-100 block of West 43rd Street. Police said a 58-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were inside a blue hatchback when both were shot.
The 58-year-old man was shot in the neck and taken to an area hospital, where he died. The younger man sustained a graze wound to the back of the head. He was hospitalized in good condition.
Police haven’t released details about what led up to the shooting.
