ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Authorities are searching for a man who escaped from police custody Saturday morning while being processed downtown.
Eric Fountain, 37, escaped at 9:24 a.m., according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The Rochester Police Department, New York State Police and surrounding town and village agencies are assisting in the search.
Fountain is a white man with a medium build and stands 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and a black T-shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
